Founded on a Vision of Hope

SHEMA was founded by Nuhu John Ndavagi, a visionary humanitarian based in Maiduguri, Borno State, Nigeria. With a National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelor of Arts in Theology, Nuhu brings a unique perspective that combines practical engineering solutions with deep spiritual conviction.

Driven by a conviction that lasting change requires both mentorship and practical action, Nuhu established SHEMA as a vehicle for dignified, inclusive community transformation. He recognized that vulnerable communities—widows, orphans, and marginalized populations—deserve more than charity; they deserve to be empowered and restored to dignity.

What started as a local initiative has grown into a movement of compassion and hope, touching thousands of lives across Nigeria.
